Hello Ladies!
I hope you are off to a fantastic start this week!!
This week, we want to put the spotlight on Allison. Who’s Allison, you ask? Allison is part of the Fit Chick Community and is learning how to meal prep!! YAY Allison! Fit Chicks has deemed 2022 the YEAR OF NUTRITION! Join us in making 2022 your YEAR OF NUTRITION! Here are a few tips to get you started focusing on nutrition and what you are eating.
Drink plenty of water so that you are staying hydrated and not as hungry
Track your food … just right down what you eat every day in a notebook or journal
Use a salad plate for your meals and not a full-size plate
Get vegetables into your life more - make an effort to eat them at every meal.
Chop vegetables into small pieces to eat and mix into other foods.
Minimize your sugar intake
Avoid ultra-processed foods
Limit refined carbohydrates (carbs stripped of fiber)
Get moving … do something to move, have your own dance party, walk … move!
Get enough sleep
